All of our research findings are disseminated as widely as possible. Early findings and works in progress are typically presented at Canadian and international conferences and reported in refereed conference proceedings. We publish completed works in top-ranked international peer-reviewed journals, such as Solar Energy, Building and Environment, Journal of Power Sources, Journal of Building Performance Simulation, Energy and Buildings, and Science and Technology for the Built Environment.
Although most of the conference papers can be downloaded from this site or can be easily found with a web search, copyright laws prohibit us from posting the “version of record” of published journal articles. The links provided here will allow you to view and download these journal articles if your library has a valid subscription. Otherwise, feel free to contact Professor Beausoleil-Morrison.
Each student who completes their masters or doctoral research at SBES publishes their results in a thesis, which are available for download. Also available for download are annual electrical demand profiles and hot water consumption profiles that we have developed based upon field monitoring campaigns conducted in Canadian houses.
