Ann Tremblay
Community
Ann Tremblay, MCIP, MPA, is a retired Project Director from Public Services and Procurement Canada. In that role, she provided direction to teams of architects and engineers towards the delivery of construction projects for the Parliamentary Precinct, and Energy Services Acquisition Program. Ann has also held, throughout her career, varying positions in municipal government, not-for-profit organizations, and the private sector, most notably as the Director of Airport Planning and Municipal Affairs with the Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport Authority.
She obtained her undergraduate degree in Urban Geography and Sociology from McMaster University in 1983 and1984 respectively and is a Carleton University alumna having obtained a master’s degree in public administration in 1997. Ann has also had the privilege of being previously involved with the academic community having had the opportunity to lead project courses at Queen’s University as an adjunct professor
Ann is the current Chair of the Committee of Adjustment for the City of Ottawa (second term), and previously served in lead roles for other organizations such as Treasurer for the BOMA Ottawa Board of Directors, and Treasurer for the Ontario Professional Planners Institute.
Ann was elected to the Board of Governors for a three-year term commencing July 1, 2019 and ending June 30, 2022. Ann has renewed her term for an additional three years, which is now set to end on June 30, 2025.
