Greg Farrell

Greg Farrell, FCPA, FCA, served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Giant Tiger Stores Limited until his retirement. Greg remains a member of the Giant Tiger Board of Directors and is currently Chair of their Audit Committee.
Throughout his career he has been an active volunteer, working with a number of non-profit and Ottawa community-based organizations.
Greg has formerly served as a member of the Finance Council of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Ottawa-Carleton and a past director for the Ottawa Senators Foundation Board.
Greg was first elected to the Carleton Board of Governors in 2017. During this time, Greg served as Vice-Chair of the Board of Governors for a two-year term before becoming Chair of the Board of Governors on July 1, 2022.
Greg is a proud alum (’88) of Carleton University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
