Assistant Program Director

Hey, my name is Avery Robinson! I’m 25 years old, and I’m from Trenton, Ontario, but I live in Ottawa (about 10 minutes from Carleton campus!). I’m an alumnus of both Laurentian University, where I got my Bachelor’s in both Education and Science with a major in Biology, minor in Business Administration, and UOttawa, where I got my Master’s of Education. This will be my fifth year working at SHAD Carleton, in a variety of different roles. I’m also a SHAD alumnus, as I attended in 2018 at the McGill campus. Throughout the year, I play volleyball, always have some craft project in progress, and work as a supply teacher. During the non-SHAD part of the summer, I try to spend my time canoeing, playing board games, and spending time with the people (and pets!) in my life. I’m looking forward to having a fantastic summer at SHAD Carleton, and I can’t wait to meet you all!
