Congratulations to Anthropology PhD student Ugochukwu Okoye on his recent co-authored paper, titled "Heritage and Cultural Affiliation: Archaeological Materials in the Performance of Identity and Belonging in Igbo Ukwu, Southeaster Nigeria". This has been published in the Global Perspectives Journal by University of California Press.
He co-authored this paper with a fellow doctoral student in archaeology at Notre Dame University, USA. The paper drew inspiration from his interest in the multiple ways the concept of belonging applies to social research and on his previous work on Igbo Ukwu.
