Congratulations to PhD student Sarah George who has been featured in a special issue on Black Radicalism for the Briarpatch magazine for an interview archiving the decades-long contributions of activist Adrienne Coddett to Black communities in Ottawa. George is also a recent recipient of the Joseph Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Doctoral Scholarship and will continue to explore the Black radicalism of women in Canada during her dissertation titled: “Being, Becoming and Belonging: The Black Radical Tradition of African, Caribbean, and Black Women’s Resistance and Leadership in Canada.” Learn more about Ottawa’s Black History here!
