“I age myself by saying I completed my HBA in 1994, and my M.A. in 1997, both at Carleton, before heading elsewhere for my Ph.D. I have worked part-time as a contract instructor in our school for close to 20 years now and I can honestly say it has always been a special place. Our school has always had professors and staff of the highest caliber. In my day, I was fortunate enough to study under the likes of Bruce Cox, Simon Brascoupé, Derek Smith, Charles Laughlin, Charles Gordon, and many other great scholars and fantastic people. Current faculty excel in many diverse fields and are a credit to anthropology-sociology as a whole. I loved my experience as graduate student at Carleton. The intimate nature of class sizes and excellent courses prepared me well for my Ph.D research and I would recommend Carleton’s anthropology and sociology programs strongly for any student. Our campus is (now) quite beautiful, and our amenities and social activities are wonderful. It has been my pleasure to have worked and studied at Carleton University and in our school.”
