"I can say that I did my Undergrad and Master's in our program and what it did, specifically, is teach me how to both write and research effectively. That skill set, coupled with learning to learn from others from their perspective, has served me well in my current role as a design anthropologist carrying out service design research for clients and internal partners at IRCC. In fact, my anthropological training was critical to my success before IRCC as a consultant researching and evaluating programs and impacts for First Nations, Inuit and Metis communities - what I learned in the classroom I got to see in action. In fact, I can say that I find myself going back to my old textbooks on social research and ways of knowing more and more."
