Research Interests and Areas of Expertise
Participatory Action Research on food security, agricultural biodiversity, and land tenure conflicts in Asia and Latin America. Urban and environmental issues in the Canadian context. Currently undertaking research on tribal land tenure conflicts in India, the economics of tobacco production in Bangladesh, responses to food insecurity in Honduras and methods for social analysis and evaluation of urban environmental conflicts. Expertise in facilitation and the design of participatory and community-based research on a variety of topics.
