TIM Showcase
The annual TIM Showcase from Carleton University and the Sprott School of Business’, Technology Innovation Management (TIM) program is an event filled with excitement, inspiration, and connection, as the projects and talented individuals from the TIM student and alumni community are showcased.
The event serves as a bridge between the TIM program and the external community, inviting business professionals interested in finding top talent, fostering innovation leadership, and accessing university resources for company growth.
The showcase includes a special presentation, as well as, highlighting impactful student projects and concluding with a networking-style career fair.
As a returning exhibitor to the TIM Showcase, I continue to be impressed by the caliber of TIM program students. Their professionalism, drive, and determination standout year after year. The presentations are not only innovative and insightful but also challenge conventional thinking, demonstrating a commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology in practical, real-world applications.
Beyond the showcase, engaging with students through networking has reinforced just how knowledgeable and experienced they are. It’s clear they are ready to make meaningful contributions in the industry, and I look forward to continuing to support their growth and career journeys.

What an unforgettable time at the 2025 TIM Showcase —
With over 250 attendees, 14 employers actively recruiting, and a packed house filled with faculty, students, alumni, and Ottawa’s business community, the energy at Richcraft Hall was electric.
We were incredibly honoured to welcome Carleton University President, Dr. Wisdom Tettey, to deliver opening remarks – his words were inspiring and set the tone for the day. His speech made one thing clear:
The TIM Program isn’t just part of Carleton’s innovation story — it’s leading it.
He called TIM a “beacon—not just within Carleton, but across Canada and beyond,” and celebrated our students as thinkers, builders, and entrepreneurs who turn real-world challenges into real-world change.
From quantum entrepreneurship to AI-driven business solutions, student startups to national initiatives like Up Our Game, Canada!, President Tettey reminded us that TIM is where research meets impact — at scale.
