You may have heard that Carleton went through an extensive rebranding process. The aim was to create a strong and consistent brand to help evolve our profile and reputation.

One of the key components to our visual identity is our university logo and it has gotten a facelift!

Some of you may have been involved in the process with the Department of University Communications (DUC) or perhaps taken part in the consultations when it came to selecting the final new logo. We think the end result is pretty awesome!

In Web Services, our developers have been busy and the new logo is now live on all of our Carleton branded websites including cms sites, Framework and sites in the new cuTheme. Check it out at the top left and in the footer of our Web Services site right here! (If you don’t see it immediately on your site, you may have to refresh your browser.)

Find out more about Carleton’s new brand, guidelines on use, and download assets (such as the new logo, PowerPoint templates and email signature) at DUC’s Brand website.

See an old logo? Not to worry…

We have many websites and properties and are still working on updating everything. If you do notice a logo that needs updating, it would be super helpful if you let us know where so we can get to it.
