Dr. Ann Cvetkovich has a new piece in the Spring 2021 special issue on Affect published by the journal Feminist Media Histories. The article titled “It Feels Right to Me”: Queer Feminist Art Installations and the Sovereignty of the Senses focuses on how affect theory has been informed by art practice, and develops the concept of the “sovereignty of the senses” by examining queer and feminist work by Rachael Shannon, Zoe Leonard, and Alison Bechdel.
