Jennifer Evans is a Professor of History at Carleton University. She specializes in the history of contemporary Germany with interests in transnational histories of sexuality, social memory, and visual culture. Evans has written books and articles on sexual subcultures in the aftermath of WWII, co-edited two books on same-sex sexuality in general, and another on the history of documentary photography.
