What is your favourite thing about the College?
My favourite thing about the College was the close-knit sense of community among students and faculty across all four years, and that it extended beyond the classroom. I feel so lucky to have met such great people.
What will you miss the most?
I will miss the feeling of getting the comfy chair by the window in the lounge, and that there was always someone around to chat with to make your day a little more interesting. I will also miss the fun traditions (and study tips) that were passed down between the years – the formals, the journal, and the music, poetry and fight night events. It really is such a special program to be a part of.
What is your favourite reading/book/text from the program?
Midnight’s Children by Salman Rushdie.
What’s next for you?
I am going on to do an MA in Art History and Visual Studies at the University of Victoria where I will continue my research on Indigenous art history and methodologies with a focus on my own Anishinaabe culture.
