The Ottawa S2BN (https://www.s2bn.org/ottawachapter) is recruiting up to 2 Event Support Associates, and 1 Marketing Associate for the 2022-2023 academic year. Please see below for a description of the available volunteer positions, and details on how to apply (pls note application deadline is Friday, November 25th).
Science to Business Network – Ottawa Chapter – Positions
- I) Event Support Associate(up to 2 positions available)
Purpose: Event support associate will coordinate the clerical, financial, and administrative tasks associated with S2BN event execution.
Responsibilities:
– Print/manage event ‘registration’ sheets, nametags, and signage
– Draft post-event feedback surveys and draw insights to direct future event planning
– Compile event expense reports including receipts and submit to program lead to ensure effective tracking of finances
– Maintain an event attendee master-list for marketing purposes
- II) Marketing Associate
Purpose: Marketing associate will help plan and implement S2BN event marketing activities.
Responsibilities:
– Design S2BN promotional materials including event posters and newsletters
– Advertise chapter events and activities through all organizational channels, including:
– Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn
– Email contact list
– Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for programming and events
