This study is composed of multiple questionnaires that take about 45 minutes to complete. This study aims to understand how identity and social connectedness influence the mental health of students while particularly focusing on the experiences of Black students. We hope to understand how Black students differentially experience psychological factors such as loneliness and social support and hope that the results provide insight into how mental health services on campus can be better suited to serve Black students. The survey is completely anonymous.

Participants who choose to complete the survey will be entered to win one of forty $50 Amazon gift cards. The only requirement for participation is that you provide a Carleton university email address to be eligible for the draw. Participation in the study is entirely optional and participants can withdraw from the study at any time.
