Johanna Lim

Johanna Lim has twenty years of experience working with provincial and municipal agencies, the banking sector and public accounting practice. She has worked across diverse sectors, including Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP, Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) and the Toronto Transit Commission, where she learned to navigate complex organizations and turn operational challenges into structured, effective solutions.
Her work with the WSIB involved the development and implementation of the corporate compliance program and ethics framework as well as advising management on integrating effective compliance and risk mitigation measures into their operational processes. During her time with Pricewaterhouse, Johanna led consultations and strategic discussions with practice partners to resolve risk and quality-related issues about businesses offered within our National Deals and Advisory Practice. Johanna currently serves as Chief Auditor at the Canadian Red Cross, responsible for the oversight of the internal audit function and charged with ensuring the effectiveness of the function is in place across the organization. Johanna has a thorough understanding of how to develop efficient and value-added solutions to advance organizational objectives.
Outside of her career work, Johanna has served as a volunteer board member in several Audit, Finance, Risk Management, and Board Committees. She is currently the Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee for the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, helping to promote physiotherapy to build safe and resilient communities for Canadians.
