Mita Meyers

Mita Meyers is a Certified Public Accountant and a Carleton alumnus, having graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting. 

Mita’s twenty years as an Assurance Partner at EY Ottawa, leading financial audits and advisory engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across Canada and the United States has honed her expertise in financial reporting, internal controls, risk management, and capital and operating budgeting. Her work as Board and Audit Committee Chair for the Ottawa Cancer Foundation and the Ottawa Network for Education (ONFE) has provided her with extensive experience in governance, strategic planning, and financial oversight. At ONFE, she championed initiatives that promoted literacy and ensured equitable access to education, including programs that provide essential nutrition for students and Junior Achievement programs. From her experience Mita is adept in financial reporting, internal controls, risk management, financial reporting and stakeholder communication.
