Nathalie Laporte, CPA, CA, C.Dir, is President and CEO of the Canadian Association of University Business Officers (CAUBO). With nearly 30 years of experience in higher education administration, she has made significant contributions to the post-secondary sector through her leadership and commitment to advancing excellence in university administration across Canada.

An experienced governance and strategic planning leader, Laporte has served in a variety of volunteer and board roles. She is passionate about supporting strong institutional governance and helping universities achieve long-term success through effective leadership and collaboration.

Guided by the values of community, curiosity and impact, Laporte brings a broad perspective on higher education and governance to her role on Carleton University’s Board of Governors.

Laporte was elected to the Board of Governors for a three-year term commencing July 1, 2024, and ending June 30, 2027.
