BPAPM 2nd Annual Case Competition

January 24, 2026

Cost:Free

The BPAPM Case Competition has expanded this year, welcoming students from across the Faculty of Public and Global Affairs (FPGA) to participate in an engaging, interdisciplinary policy challenge. Rooted in the Public Affairs and Policy Management (PAPM) program’s commitment to collaboration and real-world learning, the competition reflects our belief that effective policymaking thrives when diverse perspectives come together.

In partnership with a City of Ottawa Councillor Sean Menard, this year’s case focuses on pressing municipal issues that shape the daily lives of residents. By engaging youth directly in local policy discussions, we aim to empower students to think critically about their communities and explore creative, actionable solutions.

Hosted by BPAPM in collaboration with the PAPM Student Society (PAPMSS), the competition offers an opportunity for FPGA students to showcase their innovation, teamwork, and leadership. We are excited to see your ideas and hope this experience inspires continued involvement in shaping a more inclusive and forward-thinking Ottawa.
