Thomas Lehner is a visiting researcher working with Professor Achim Hurrelmann at Carleton University for the fall 2018. Thomas is a PhD researcher at the University of Salzburg where he is studying political science. His research interests focus on the European Parliament, voting behaviour, and how national parties influence the European policy making process. He is also a research assistant for the Horizon 2020 Project “The Choice for Europe after Maastricht.” This project will present future economic and fiscal integration scenarios and assess their likelihood of becoming reality.
