Process Timeline
The consultation process was designed to ensure members of the Carleton community have the opportunity to provide meaningful feedback during the Task Force’s listening phase. This engagement will help inform a clear set of reflections and recommendations that will be submitted to the President and Provost.
Process Phases
The reflections and recommendations will be developed in 2026 and shared with the Carleton community in early 2027.
Phase 1
Plan
Appoint Task Force members and plan process overview, including identifying methodology.
Phase 2
Community Engagement and Listening
Share the anonymous online consultation form, and open and closed sessions with the Carleton community.
Phase 3
Synthesis
The Task Force will create a draft of reflections and recommendations.
Phase 4
Validate
Draft recommendations will be shared with the Carleton community. The community will be invited to provide feedback.
Phase 5
Refine
The Task Force will refine the draft based on the feedback.
Phase 6
Submit to President and Provost
Submit finalized reflections and recommendations to the President and Provost for review.
Phase 7
Institutional Commitment
Release finalized reflections and recommendations to the Carleton community.
