What was your experience like in the program?

It’s only upon reflection that I came to truly appreciate the rich learning environment and community that the College provided. It’s a program like no other – a tight knit group full of kindred spirits. And despite not always being as studious as I should have been (mea culpa), I came away from the program  with a love of the classics and an endless curiosity. 

How has your B.Hum degree helped your career?

I always loved getting the question “what are you going to do with that degree?” 

“Anything,” I’d respond. 

The capacity for synthesizing large volumes of information and exploring connections are skills that help you in any career field. In my particular case, it’s helped me move between roles in economic security, strategic defence assessments, military operations, and now, supporting the development of Canada’s space launch program.
