What was your experience like in the program?
Wonderful and challenging – BHUM Bio was not easy but fortunately everything that I took on after Hums felt much easier than it probably was. I look back at the program fondly.
How has your B.Hum degree helped your career?
The main way I think Hums helped my career was by introducing me the world of academia in a comfortable environment. Hums was a place to learn how to network and form meaningful relationships with profs. Because of this, I had amazing and real references for my future education, and this helped me move my career forward. It also gave me the confidence to continue to network. Truthfully, the content of my Hums degree may not play a huge role in my career, beside helping develop my soft skills, I don’t think I would be where I am without the relationships I formed between my peers and professors.
