What was your experience like in the program and how has your degree helped your career?

The program helped me develop my writing and critical thinking skills. I use these skills daily as a lawyer, where my work requires me to critically review large volumes of information, including dense primary sources. I’m required to produce clearly structured, persuasive, and well-reasoned analysis based on my close reading of texts.

This sort of task will be very familiar to students at the College of the Humanities, where the professors place great emphasis on teaching these skills.
