B.Hum (2019)

What was your experience like in the program and how has your B.Hum degree helped your career?

My experience at the College of Humanities was a ton of fun and the perfect place for someone like me – someone who never wanted to fully commit to either the arts or the sciences, but to do both for as long as possible. The breadth of study has ment that I’ve been able to connect with researchers focusing on a wide range of topics, from data science to literature, as a research librarian. It’s also meant that I’ve been able to pursue further study in multiple different fields, which in turn has set me up as a pretty decent trivia team member!

I took the Bachelor’s of Humanities and Biology degree, which has helped me in my career as a research librarian by exposing me to a wide variety of subjects and methodologies.
