Robb Barnes ( He/Him )

Bachelor of Humanities, Climate Program Director with the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment

B.Hum Graduate 2007

What was your experience like in the program and how has your degree helped your career?

My career path is in no small part a result of the questions and reflections that arose, and were clarified, as part of my Humanities education. Pretty much every day, I build on the lessons of that education by engaging in politics and public service oriented around environmental problems. I am deeply thankful to the amazing team at the College of Humanities for making me a better thinker, writer and communicator, and I draw on these skills in nearly every facet of my work, from contextualizing scientific findings, to using rhetoric and argumentation to make the case for good public policy.
