What was your experience like in the program and how has your degree helped your career?

The B.Hum degree helped me develop the skills to succeed in my later degrees, as well as strong writing and analytical skills which I have used when writing for journals and edited volumes. The ability to break complex tasks and ideas into their components to understand them has helped me when developing my own academic journal and editing the work of others. BHums also helped me develop my ability to work in groups and speak clearly and effectively, as well as fostered a love of art, both of which I take with me in my current role at the Carleton University Art Gallery.
