Network Technology Students win 1st Prize in Mayor’s Cyber Challenge Cup

Lead by Algonquin Professor Robert Brandon, BIT’s Network Technology students (Georges Ankenmann, Jason Reifstenzel, Joseph Mitchell, and John Morrison) beat out competition from the University of Ottawa, Carleton’s Computer Science program, Algonquin College’s Computer Systems Technician program, and La Cité, to come first place in Ottawa’s Mayor’s Cyber Challenge Cup. Their prize is a paid internship to some of the regions top cyber security firms.
