Dr. Goode is an Associate Professor and McMillian Chair in Russian Studies at the Institute of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies. His current research focuses on nationalism, authoritarianism, and propaganda in Russia and the post-Soviet space. He is the director of the “Russian Media Observation and Reporting” (RuMOR) project; lead investigator of a SSHRC-funded project “Russia’s Media at War,” which analyzes Russia’s media narratives about the war in Russia and abroad; and co-investigator for the Trans-Atlantic Platform project “Democracy in Exile,” which examines war-induced migration from Russia. He also serves as Editor-in-Chief of Communist and Post-Communist Studies.
