Administrator or Project Manager

The Eastern Europe and Transatlantic Network (EETN) – hosted by the Institute of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (EURUS) of Carleton University and funded by the Department of National Defence Canada is looking to fill the position of Administrator/Project Manager. Information about the EETN and the position is found below.

Position Details

Project co-leaders: Professors Crina Viju-Miljusevic, Paul Goode, Jeff Sahadeo

Period of employment: February 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027

Casual position: 10 hours/week

Remuneration: $40/hour

Tasks

• Communication with Network members;

• Organisation of Network events, including facilities, travel, accommodation and catering;

• Project accounting;

• Supervision of research assistants in charge of administrative duties

Profile

Education: BA or MA degree required (completed or in progress)

Abilities and competences:

• strong writing and communication skills;
• ability to work independently;
• Fluency in English;
• analytical skills;
• flexibility, motivation and reliability.

Previous experience in project management would be an asset.
