Carleton has 8 AEDs installed across campus as part of the Ottawa Paramedic Service Public Access Defibrillator Program with another 8 to come in 2019!!

Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are a life saving device but there are some misconceptions about their use.

An Ottawa Paramedic will explain how AEDs work, why they are important, clear up some common misconceptions, and outline the 4 key components that, when accomplished, increase the likelihood of a successful outcome.

Participants will also have the opportunity for hand-on time with an AED.

No need to bring your lunch! Pizza will be served.
