CU WorkSafe Inspections and Corrective Actions

All Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) workplace inspections are now completed in CGR. Hazards identified by the JHSC inspectors are assigned to the supervisors, principal investigators, space managers, or space occupants through CU WorkSafe. The same module will also be used to complete FED safety committee inspections.

Once a workplace inspections is assigned to the inspectors, they will have a month’s time to complete their assigned building inspection. Inspectors can find the step by step guide on how to complete their assigned workplace safety inspections by clicking on the tab below

Where a hazard is believed to present an immediate danger, inspectors will mark it as Critical for an immediate action will be taken to remove the hazard.

Once the inspectors complete their inspection, EH&S or the safety representative will assign corrective actions to the respective assignee. The assignee will receive an email titled CU WorkSafe- Inspection Action Assigned. A step by step guideline for assignees can be found by clicking on the tab below.
