Trouble Shooting Guide for Leg Discomfort
The following lists some possible causes of leg discomfort amongst computer users. Potential corrective actions to consider are also listed.
Feet not well supported
- Adjust chair or keyboard height to allow feet to rest flat on the ground or use a footrest to provide support if height cannot be supported.
Pressure behind the knees while sitting
- Adjust the seat pan depth so that a 2-finger width of space is maintained between the back of the knee and the front edge of the seat.
- If adjustment cannot be made, consider using a strap on back support to reduce seat depth.
