The best way to push the limits of science, is safely. Laboratories are home to chemicals, lasers, radiation, and other hazards, that students and researchers must manage safely. Environmental Health & Safely works closely with departments across campus to ensure that our ravens are practicing safe science.

Numerous workshops are found within Carleton’s Faculty of Engineering and Design as well as within Facilities Management & Planning. These hands-on work areas contain unique hazards such as dust, noise, equipment, and hot work.
