Environmental Health and Safety provides Biosafety awareness training for University employees and students.

This 3 hour training course will provide general information regarding Health and Safety practices and considerations required when working with bio-hazardous materials (bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites, protozoa, biotoxins etc.) and potentially biohazardous material (blood, mammalian cells lines).

Who should attend?

This course is mandatory for all persons working with biohazardous materials at Carleton University.
