Upon completing my undergraduate degree in English and Journalism, I jumped right into a Master of Arts program in Communications. I honed my storytelling skills through my education at Carleton. After graduation, I worked in communications and marketing for Lacrosse Canada—telling the important story of Canada’s National Summer Sport. I had the opportunity to travel with Team Canada to Lacrosse World Championships and spearhead the digital launch of Lacrosse Canada’s 2021 rebrand. Working in media relations at Queen’s University, I used my storytelling skills to share with the world interesting research conducted at the university. My path led me back to Carleton University, where I worked in digital-content creation and communications for the Azrieli School of Architecture and the Sprott School of Business, sharing inspiring departmental and student stories on a diverse range of platforms.
