See below for NEW parking information
We’ll hear from two passionate experts, each speaking for 20 minutes about their subject, after which there will be a moderated Q & A. DOUBLE MAJOR encourages discussion of disparate topics and connects people and ideas.
Jenna Tenn-Yuk is a spoken word artist, public speaker, facilitator, singer-songwriter and storyteller. She has performed and spoken nationally at TEDx, Pecha Kucha, on Parliament Hill and at numerous conferences. She created a monthly poetry series, Words to Live By, and facilitates spoken word workshops to help people find and speak their voices.
Jane Dickson-Gilmore is a professor in the Department of Law and Legal Studies at Carleton University. She is working with the Mohawk Nation at Kahnawake toward the development of a separate, tradition-based legal system. Her current research includes dispute resolution and restorative justice, and First Nations and traditional Justice.
