FASS Orientation Week Registration

Join us in late summer for a week of orientation sessions beginning August 23, 2021. The sessions will provide an introduction to the university, and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) in particular. You’ll learn how to navigate Carleton services, meet some of your fellow students, and have an opportunity to develop useful strategies to help you in your transition to university.
Topics covered include procrastination (and how to avoid this trap), academic success (including how to read and take notes; study tips and goal setting), mental health (how to look out for your physical and mental health during the Fall) and learning success in both an online and in-person environment. Orientation sessions are facilitated by FASS student ambassadors and feature presentations by faculty and students, in an interactive learning environment.
All sessions will run from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. EST.
