Third year, French and Law with a concentration in Transnational Law and Human Rights

Jamal Alli is a third-year student perusing a combined degree in both French and Law with a concentration in transnational law and human rights. They have a passion for human rights, especially the intersection of LGBTQ+ rights and religious rights, and enjoys learning about global issues. Jamal is a member of the Carleton University Debate Society and was an equity officer for the 2023-2024 school year. Outside of school, you can find Jamal curled up with a romance novel or playing video games.
