You’re invited to the book launch for We Need to Talk About Menopause by Anne Bowker, Janet Mantler, Chizorom Ogbuagu, and Emma Bider.
This event will feature a 30-minute conversation with the book’s four authors each sharing how they first got involved in this project, as well as their favourite story or insight from the book, followed by a Q&A with the audience.
Upon arriving at the venue, attendees will have the opportunity jot down their thoughts about menopause onto easels set up around room, while enjoying some complimentary wine and cheese.

About the book
We Need to Talk About Menopause explores the lived experiences of women navigating menopause through personal stories and research-informed analysis. Drawing on the experiences of 60 women, the book examines the physical, emotional, social, and workplace impacts of menopause while encouraging greater understanding, open conversation, and support for women during this important life transition.
