Associate Professor in Media, Sound and Visual Studies

Claudia Attimonelli is Associate Professor of Media, Sound and Visual Studies at the Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro. She is the Scientific Director of the Gender Archive “Carla Lonzi” Uniba and she coordinates the Bari International Gender Festival Dialogues. She collaborates with festivals, galleries, and artists’ collectives. She is author of several books about the electronic and techno scene, such as Techno: Ritmi afrofuturisti (2018); L’Elettronica è donna, transfemminista e queer (2022); Pornoculture (with V. Susca 2017).
Vincenzo Susca
Professor of Sociology
Université de Montpellier Paul-Valéry, France
Vincenzo Susca is Professor of Sociology of the Imaginary at the University of Montpellier Paul-Valéry. Director of the series L’imaginaire et le contemporain at Liber (Montreal), he collaborates with numerous festivals, research centres, galleries, and journals. He is the author of several books—translated into various languages—exploring the relationships among media, the imaginary, and everyday life. His latest book is Bello da morire: L’arte e il pubblico dal kitsch al wow (Milan 2026).
