Bachelor of Humanities, Honours, Minor in Biology, Certificate in Science Communication

Avarey is a third-year student in the Bachelor of Humanities program, concurrent with a Minor in Biology and a Certificate in Science Communication. She is interested in philosophy, European and classical literature, ecology, environmental science, and wildlife biology. Avarey is the secretary of the Humanities Academic Success Society, and an editor of Ipso Facto: The Carleton Journal of Interdisciplinary Humanities. In her free time, Avarey enjoys bouldering, swimming, reading, and writing. After completing her undergraduate degree, Avarey hopes to further her studies in a Biology or Environmental Science graduate program.
