B.A. Honours Indigenous Studies, Minor in Political Science

Bri Toulouse is a fourth-year Honours Indigenous Studies student at Carleton University and a member of Sagamok Anishnawbek. Before attending Carleton, she completed a diploma in Community and Justice Services, where she developed a passion for Indigenous governance, advocacy, and community-based work. Since then, her academic interests have expanded to include Indigenous governance, political institutions, Indigenous-settler relations, and public policy. Outside the classroom, Bri serves on the Board of Directors for Keepers of the Circle and has gained experience working in Indigenous community services. As a FASS Ambassador, Bri hopes to share her experiences, connect with prospective students, and help others feel confident as they begin their own university journey. When she’s not studying, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and exploring local coffee shops and bookstores.
