Fourth year, English, Concentration in Creative Writing

Katrina (Kat) is in her fourth year of a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in creative writing, here, at Carleton University. She has hopes to continue writing both academically and beyond. She has been published in Carleton’s Literary Magazine for her story Spirit Bead. She grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, surrounded by the bush. She is also a proud Metis woman, and she looks to incorporate her culture and upbringing around the natural world into her writing and future career.
