B.A. Honours Women’s and Gender Studies, Minor in Communication and Media Studies

I am a third-year student in Women’s and Gender Studies with a minor in Communications and Media Studies. I chose this major for its intersectional approach to studying social justice and because of the exceptional people in the program (shoutout to Lana Keon and the FIST faculty!). At Carleton, I participate in basketball and soccer intramurals, volunteer at the Gender and Sexuality Resource Centre, and love attending open mic events. Outside of Carleton, I love creative writing, bouldering, playing guitar and watching women’s sports. I am originally from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and I am always happy to discuss what it’s like moving far from home for school. I’m excited to represent my program and meet prospective students as a FASS ambassador!
