Blair Rutherford—Professor, Anthropology.

Dr. Blair Rutherford is the Anthropology Undergraduate Program Coordinator in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology.

He teaches ethnography of sub-Saharan Africa, anthropology of development, and anthropology of natural resources courses. Blair’s research has focused on the cultural politics informing rural economic livelihoods in different African countries, particularly in southern Africa.
