Ruth Nobossi

Fourth year, Cognitive Science with a concentration in Neuroscience in the Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Modelling Stream, minor in Criminology and Criminal Justice

Ruth is a passionate student, leader, and advocate for student issues at Carleton. She is heavily involved in the Carleton community through her roles on the CUSA Board of Directors, at the Unified Support Centre and in various other clubs, societies, and CUSA service centres. Her interdisciplinary academic research focuses on cognitive modelling, embodied cognition, and neurodiversity. Additionally, she is a recipient of a 2024 SSHRC Undergraduate Research Award and an editor for the Carleton Undergraduate Journal of Cognitive Science. Outside of school, she can be found rollerblading, engaging in lively debates with friends, and playing the piano. As a FASS ambassador, she loves sharing her passion for Carleton with current and incoming students, and she hopes to make a positive impact and motivate students to make the most out of their time in university.
