B.A. Combined Honours English and Film Studies

Samantha (Sam) Cayer is a fourth-year English and Film Studies student. She has a particular interest in creative writing, and throughout her degree she has built her own portfolio of short fiction, poetry, and screenplays. Outside of the classroom, Sam works hard to enrich the creative community at Carleton as president of the Carleton Film Society, where she facilitates and hosts events for filmmakers and film lovers all across campus. As an FASS Student Ambassador, Sam is excited to continue growing this loving community and building even more connections with fellow writers, filmmakers, and creatives alike.
