Fourth Year, B.Sc. Honours Psychology with a concentration in Health

Shash is a fourth-year B.Sc. Honours Psychology student with a concentration in Health. He has gained valuable experience through his practicum at the Ottawa Centre of Cognitive Therapy and his involvement in two research labs. As a Lead Recruitment Coordinator, he helps design recruitment strategies, train research assistants, and support lab operations. He has also contributed to systematic reviews and statistical programming in his second lab. Shash is passionate about health psychology and mental health advocacy, with particular research interests in eating disorders, psychotherapy, and evidence-based interventions. He became a FASS Ambassador to showcase the opportunities Carleton offers and to guide future students in finding their own path. Outside of academics, he enjoys gaming, trying new restaurants, and exploring new running spots around Ottawa.
